Networks measured at scale, from the metro to the last village.

Every line of the Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Lille metros, every high-speed line, every French motorway, the Channel Tunnel, villages with no mobile coverage: our teams have measured them. We run these campaigns in France and across the European Union.

For those who operate, build or cover a network.

  1. Operators and integrators

Subcontract indoor and outdoor measurement campaigns: network audits, benchmarks, quality of service, before and after a network change.

  2. Towercos

Measure before building a site, then after it goes live, to document the coverage gained.

  3. Transport operators

Know the real coverage of a metro line, a rail line, a motorway or a tunnel.

  4. Local authorities and project teams

Municipalities, departments, regions, New Deal project teams: put facts behind white and grey zones, support a coverage request, check the improvement.

Transport networks.

Measurement campaigns run across entire networks.

Metros
Every line of the Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Lille metros.
High-speed lines
Every high-speed (TGV) line in France.
Motorways
The whole French motorway network.
Channel Tunnel
The Eurostar link between France and England, under the sea.
PARIS · LYON · MARSEILLE · LILLE — EVERY LINE
Metro lines: coverage section by section.

Channel Tunnel: the measurement follows the tunnel under the sea, from coast to coast.

Coverage gaps, measured village by village.

In villages and rural areas, we measure all four operators' coverage by drive test, through the streets and along the access roads. Our teams have already measured villages with no mobile coverage.

By drive test
A vehicle drives the village streets and access roads. Coverage is measured continuously along the whole route.
White and grey zones
The report shows, section by section, where no operator gets through (white zones) and where only some do (grey zones).

What we take on.

  1. Network audits

Coverage analysis of a line, a city or an area, in France and in every European Union country.

  2. Tests and benchmarks

All four operators compared, measured under the same conditions, at the same moment, from 2G to 5G.

  3. Quality of service

Identification of the areas to optimise to improve the user experience.

  4. Arcep's protocol

We know the measurement protocol of Arcep, the French telecoms regulator, as well as WiredScore's: your campaigns can follow it.

From scope to report.

  1. Before

    The scope

A call to set the lines, municipalities or roads to cover, the operators, the technologies and the protocol. Then we quote.

  2. In the field

    The campaign

On foot or by drive test, the route is measured for all four operators, following the chosen protocol.

  3. After

    The report

Coverage maps per operator, white and grey zones identified, a summary of the network or area.

Frequently asked questions

What is a white zone?

In French regulation, a white zone (zone blanche) is an area where no operator provides mobile coverage. A grey zone is covered by only some of the operators.

How do you measure a village?

By drive test: a vehicle drives the streets and access roads while our equipment continuously measures the coverage of all four operators.

Do you follow Arcep's protocol?

We know Arcep's measurement protocol. Your campaign can follow it, just as a building campaign follows the WiredScore specification.

Do you work outside France?

Yes. We run measurement campaigns in France and in every European Union country.

A network or an area to measure?

Describe the scope and schedule: we will come back to you with a campaign and a quote.
